About ASVAB Camp
ASVAB Camp is a free study site for the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB). It covers every subtest, from Arithmetic Reasoning to Assembling Objects, plus the scores, the AFQT and test-day rules.
What is here
- 124 lessons that explain each topic step by step, with worked examples and common traps. Every lesson also has a video lesson; the videos are being published on our YouTube channel, one a day.
- 6,516 original practice questions, each with an explanation of the right answer.
- 82 timed practice tests: a diagnostic, AFQT practice tests, full ASVAB practice forms and short tests for each subtest.
- 864 flashcards and a Word Knowledge list of 593 words with meanings and examples.
Everything on the site is free to use and needs no account. The free app has the same lessons and tests and works offline.
How the content is made
All lessons, questions, explanations and pictures are original material written for ASVAB Camp. They are not real ASVAB questions: the real test items are secure and are never published. Our questions are built to practise the same skills, so that the real test feels familiar.
Where the test facts come from
Facts about the test itself, such as the number of questions, time limits, how the AFQT is calculated, score categories, line scores and retest rules, come from official sources:
- Official ASVAB website: test format, subtests, timing, scores and retest rules
- DoD Instruction 1145.01: AFQT categories and enlistment standards
- 10 U.S.C. § 520: limits on enlistment by AFQT score and education
- USMEPCOM Regulation 611-1: testing rules at the Military Entrance Processing Stations
- ASVAB Career Exploration Program: the school version of the test
Some of these facts change over time. Each one that appears in a lesson is kept in a tracking list together with its official source, and the sources are checked every week. When a source changes, the lessons are corrected. The content was last updated on November 2, 2026.
